In Central Bedfordshire, 17% of Reception Children and 32% of Year Six children are either overweight, obese or severely obese, according to findings by the National Child Measurement Programme 2022/23. Combining an active lifestyle with a healthy diet is important for children’s health, both now and in the future. At Fun & Active, our mission is to positively impact UK outdoor play environments with advanced playground marking designs and services in order to promote healthy lifestyles in children including physical and mental wellbeing.

Helen Thompson The playground markings have been an exciting new addition to the playground and the children love them. Fun & Active from sharing ideas, to providing proofs and then installing the markings, are always keen to ensure that the final product is exactly what you want.
Sam Sheppard WOW, WOW, WOW, I am so pleased with our new school playground. It so badly needed a makeover. The team have been fantastic from start to finish. Designing, planning, changing designs. The children were overjoyed going back to school after half term. They had no idea what we had been planning and doing behind the scenes, they absolutely love it…
