Why Choose Fun & Active Playgrounds in County Durham
Tailored Designs
We understand that every school and community space has unique needs. Our team works closely with you to create bespoke playground markings that align with your goals and the specific requirements of your site.
High-Quality Materials
We use durable, long-lasting thermoplastic materials that can withstand the demands of daily use and varying weather conditions, ensuring your playground remains vibrant and functional for years to come.
Promoting Physical Activity
Our playground markings are specifically designed to engage children in fun and challenging physical activities, helping to combat the rising levels of childhood obesity in County Durham.
Supporting Educational Goals
In addition to promoting physical health, our playground designs also incorporate and support the National Curriculum, helping children learn through play.
County Durham, like many areas in the UK, faces significant challenges related to childhood obesity. Recent statistics from the National Child Measurement Programme 2022/23 indicates that nearly 26.1% of children in Reception and 39.8% of children in Year 6 are classified as overweight or obese. These figures highlight the urgent need for initiatives that encourage physical activity and healthy lifestyles amongst young people.
At Fun & Active Playgrounds, we believe that well-designed playgrounds are a key part of the solution. By incorporating a variety of games, sports activities, and learning opportunities into playgrounds, we can inspire children to be more active and improve their overall health and well-being.
