Fun & Active Playgrounds is an independent, industry leading provider of thermoplastic floor markings for the educational, local government and commercial sectors. We deliver a complete end-to-end solution for schools, nurseries and other educational organisers as well as commercial businesses who require anything from playground markings to car park markings.
We love improving our community, so all of our games are designed as well as manufactured in our Hampshire warehouse. Where did it all start?
Our founders, Greg and Dave met at school, became friends and ended up working together before Fun and Active was born. They had a bond from the beginning, even having their children born on the same day, in the same hospital. (They say complete fluke but we don’t know about the truth behind that)
While Greg was dominating the financial sector; as one of the countries youngest mortgage advisors, Dave was learning the ins and outs of the product. Working for a preformed thermoplastic manufacturer opened the door in Dave’s mind that made him so intrigued he just had to know.
The duo met for lunch after Millie, Dave’s daughter and Harrison, Greg’s son made their appearances in the world, where Dave shared his idea. It was at this lunch meeting that Fun & Active was formed. They wanted to bring outdoor learning to the next level. With fantastic designs and unbeatable product, they were determined. Now here we are, as I type this I sit in our fourth office due to continued expansion from the get go.
