How to use the Maths Caterpillar:
1. Begin by asking a child to stand on a number of their choice from the top caterpillar.
2. Decide whether you would like them to add, subtract, multiply or divide.
3. Ask a second child to choose and stand on any number from the bottom caterpillar.
4. The children can then work alone or together to calculate the answer to the sum created and write this in the box using chalk.
