We start by providing you with a week commencing date for installation, later following up to confirm the exact date of install with you on the Thursday of the week prior to this date.
Our operations team always do their best to accommodate any preferred dates of installation. However, if the weather is not suitable on the requested date, we will look to book you in for an alternative day within the same week.
All games and markings are prepared and packed by our warehouse team so there are no delays when our install teams set off from our HQ.
Flexible Scheduling
Our team is adaptable and can work around your school’s timetable to ensure that the installation process fits seamlessly into the school day.
Many schools prefer to hold wet play sessions for the day to minimise disruption to access. However, we are happy to work around your lunch and break times, where our install team can use safety cones and barrier tape to work on different areas in the playground.
If we need to stop at any time, we ask that you make us aware of those timings with plenty of notice ahead of the install date. This means we can plan the schedule accordingly and find the most convenient install schedule for your school community.
Streamlined Execution
Our experienced installation teams work quickly and efficiently to complete the project within the agreed timeframe. We arrive fully prepared with all the necessary equipment and materials, minimising any delays or interruptions.
Our teams are experienced in installing playground markings all year round, including through the winter and any poor weather spells, and we have a few ways in which we can overcome certain conditions. Light showers won’t stop us!

Top Tips for preparing your school for a term time install
Whilst we’ve covered how we carry out term time installations and the benefits you receive in return as a school, there are a few things we need from you in order to really make installation as smooth a process as it can be.
Uninterrupted Access
To complete the installation as quickly and as efficiently as possible, our install team will require clear, uninterrupted access to the playground, and our timings are estimated based on having this. We also kindly request that you make the playground available between 8am and 6pm.
Clean Surface
We also kindly ask that the playground has a clean surface prior to our visit.
The tarmac should be:
- In a reasonable condition with no loose or chipped tarmac and free from any moss, leaves, and mud
- Not gritted – this can leave residue on the surface which will lead to the new markings not adhering properly. If it is icy, we kindly ask that a pathway is gritted that won’t interfere with the positioning of the new games
- Clear of any obstructions e.g. play equipment, furniture etc
